The Artevistas Art Award at a glance

The Artevistas Art Award is an international art prize organised by Artevistas Gallery, a Barcelona gallery founded in 2008 that represents emerging national and international artists, including names from street art. Information on the gallery itself is available at Art Gallery Barcelona.

What the winner receives

The prize is a one-month solo exhibition at Artevistas Born, Carrer Barra de Ferro 8, close to the Picasso Museum, the Moco Museum and MEAM. The 2025 solo show ran under the theme "OPEN". Artists of any nationality aged 18 or over could take part, whether emerging or established, with original work in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, textiles, digital art, glass, wood, ceramics or printmaking. The full rules are set out in the terms and conditions of the award.

The 2025 edition

Applicants sent a form, an artist statement of up to 150 words, one high-resolution image, a link to their website or portfolio and an indicative price, together with a non-refundable fee of €48. A jury from the Artevistas team judged creativity, technical skill and fit with the gallery's vision. Entries closed on 31 July 2025 and the winner was announced on 30 August 2025. You can browse the artists who took part in 2025; future calls are published on the award website.
